Westminster School District's early learning programs start earlier than almost any other public district in Southern California. From infant care through Transitional Kindergarten, Land Early Learning Center offers a safe, nurturing environment where every child’s first academic experience is purposeful, joyful, and designed to last.

All WSD preschools are ranked five out of five with a top Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) by the California Department of Education. This prestigious award is rated using the Quality Counts California (QCC) Tiered Rating Matrix and evaluates:

  • Child development and school readiness for kindergarten
  • Evaluates staff qualifications, training, professional development, and teacher and student interactions
  • Measures the physical environment for health and safety standards as well as family involvement

Land offers a continuum of care from infant through TK — all under one roof.

Start Bilingual From Day One.

WSD’s Dual Language Immersion programs begin at the preschool level — one of the earliest entry points for bilingual education anywhere in Southern California. Children enrolled in DLI at preschool start building language foundations that carry them through 8th grade and toward the California Seal of Biliteracy.
