How to Enroll

New Student Enrollment — Step by Step

Online registration is open. TK and Kindergarten registration began on January 15, 2026. All new students complete Aeries Internet Registration (AIR).

Complete Online Registration

Fill out the New Student Enrollment.

Submit Required Documents

Have these ready for your school:
- Complete immunization record
- Birth certificate
- Proof of residence
Note: Telephone and cable bills are not accepted.
Step 3
Registration Complete

Once submitted, the school office will verify your documents and finalize the enrollment.

Extended School Program (ESP) — Before and After School Care

WSD offers free before and after school care at every school site — so your child can keep learning, stay active, and thrive beyond the school day.

Program Hours and Availability

Hours: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Available at: Every WSD school site

Cost: Free of charge

The Extended School Program is available to all enrolled WSD students daily at no cost to families.

What is Included

Enrichment activities include:

Homework help and tutoring
Extensions of DLI, Science, AVID, and VAPA
Clubs and student activities
Sports and physical fitness

Transfers

Attending a School Outside your Area

WSD supports a variety of transfer options for families wishing to attend a school outside their designated neighborhood school or district of residence.

Intra-district Transfer

Request to transfer to another WSD school outside your assigned attendance area.

Open Enrollment Form

Subject to availability; governed by Board Policy 5116.1.

Inter-district Transfer

Families residing outside WSD boundaries may request to attend a WSD school.

Inter-district Information

Governed by Board Policy 5117 and CA Ed Code.
