Dual Language Immersion at Westminster School District
Our award-winning bilingual program prepares students to graduate fluent in two languages, earn the California Seal of Biliteracy, and thrive in a connected world — starting in Kindergarten.
California Distinguished School 2024
Recognized by the California Department of Education for excellence in dual language instruction and student achievement in biliteracy.
Two languages. One classroom. 100% of the curriculum.
Students spend 50% of their day learning in English and 50% in Spanish or Vietnamese — not instead of core content, but through it. Math, science, and language arts are taught in both languages from Kindergarten through 8th grade.
A program built for this community.
Westminster's DLI program reflects the languages and cultures of our families. Native English speakers and English learners learn together, building cross-cultural relationships and academic skills that last a lifetime.
