California schools are required to verify immunization records for all new student admissions from TK/Kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as all students advancing to 7th grade. Parents must provide their child’s Immunization Record as proof of immunization.
The California Department of Public Health continues to require immunizations prior to school entry. Vaccinations are considered an essential activity, even during public health emergencies.
