Action Required: Accept Your Transfer

To secure your student’s placement, please accept this transfer within ten (10) calendar days or as soon as possible from the date of this notice by completing the following steps:

1. Email Brittany Patterson at bpatterson@wsdk8.us to confirm your acceptance.

2. Complete any required enrollment paperwork with the school.

If we do not receive your acceptance within this timeframe, the offer will be withdrawn, and the seat will be offered to another student.

Additional Information:

· This approval does not include transportation services. Families are responsible for providing transportation.

· Intradistrict Transfers may be revoked if any of the following occur:

o    Space is no longer available

o    Poor attendance

o    Unsatisfactory behavior or citizenship

o    Failure to make adequate transportation arrangements

o    Submission of false information regarding address or guardianship

While your child’s transfer has been approved, it is conditional based on space and availability. We will notify you if any issues arise before the first day of school. We understand that not every child may be able to attend their preferred school due to space limitations. Please be assured that every school in the WSD offers a high-quality education with qualified, caring teachers and support staff.
