School Readiness

The School Readiness Program is partially funded by the Children and Families Commission of Orange County and the Westminster School District. The purpose of the school readiness department is to prepare children and their families for kindergarten success and beyond. District-wide school readiness activities include parent-child interactive experiences, kindergarten transition events, parent training, dental, health and developmental screenings.

Additionally, a Parent Resource Center is available at Land School (15151 Temple Street, Westminster), where families can check-out parenting resources, interact with their child using educational equipment & materials, and to talk privately with school readiness specialists.  Please call (714) 898-8389 for more information, or you may contact Darcy Spicer at despicer@wsdk8.us.
