DeMille Principal Christina Hirales Recognized as a Westminster Woman of Distinction
Westminster School District proudly celebrates Christina Hirales, principal of DeMille Mỹ Việt Language Academy, who has been recognized by the City of Westminster as a 2026 Woman of Distinction. The recognition was presented during the City’s third annual Women of Distinction program held in honor of Women’s History Month.
The Women of Distinction program celebrates individuals who positively impact the community through leadership, service, activism, and volunteerism. Principal Hirales was honored by District 4 Council Member NamQuan Nguyen for her contributions to students, families, and the broader Westminster community.
As principal of DeMille Mỹ Việt Language Academy, Hirales is known for fostering a school culture centered on student success, belonging, and strong partnerships with families. Under her leadership, DeMille continues to advance Westminster School District’s commitment to Excellence in Education through innovative programs such as its Vietnamese–English Dual Language Immersion program—the first of its kind in California—helping students build strong academic foundations while developing bilingual and multicultural skills for the future.
