Online Credential Renewal

Beginning
January 1, 2007:
Renewals for Clear, Professional, Clear Professional Credentials or 30-day sub permits will be accepted on-line only. Paper submission will be returned by CCTC.
Access: www.ctc.ca.gov Click on “RENEW ONLINE” (orange lettering). Follow the directions.
Cost: $102.50 on either Master Card or Visa only will be accepted. (You may purchase either a gift Master Card or Visa card with this limit for renewal purposes.)
Submission: Up to one year in advance using current renewal date on your credential as the start date.
Late Submission: The renewal can not be back dated. eg. If your renewal date is Feb. 1 and you apply online Feb. 2 your renewal will be considered late and the county will hold your paycheck. Late submissions will need to apply for a 30-day substitute permit at the Orange County Department of Education for an additional charge of $55.00 to cover the day(s) you did not have an active credential. You can not apply for the 30-day sub permit online.
